I just bought the Nest Battery Door Bell and I had a delivery to that door. I was able to see him walk up and start to write a note when it stopped recording. Is this right? Should I be able to see a recording of the whole time that this person is at my front door? I also want other outdoor battery cameras to do the same. Any suggestions?

Same experience here. The functionality is limited unless you subscribe and pay for capturing/viewing longer periods. Atleast that is how I understand it

I am really having a hard time getting this set up and working all the time and the way I hoped it would work. If there was a person that you could talk to and get answers needed I would be jumping for joy!

Actually no. I have battery camera's so having Nest contracts do not help. I am having several times that I can see camera turn on, however it did not record the event and some that did record stopped before car was outside of camera view. I am beginning to believe these were a mistake!
