Hi all,
I have a Nest Cam Indoor which seems to be working well.
However, when motion is detected and (I believe) a short video is recorded, I can't see any way of playing the video. This is true for both the Nest app and the Google Home app.
I can see the events in the "Recent events" screen in the Google Home app and there is a play triangle icon overlaid on the still, but when I click the still, I just get the still in a new page - no video plays.
Similarly in the Nest app, the "Today" timeline shows the stills of the motion detected, but tapping on the still, I can't get the video to play.
How do I play the video recorded as part of the motion event?

It appears the answer to this is: pay for Nest Aware. Once subscribed to Nest Aware, everything works as expected. I paid for the annual subscription as this was cheaper than the monthly subscription.
