I've been using my Nest Doorbell Camera (wired gen 2) for a few months now without any problems. This morning, I used the Google Home App (iPhone) to speak to somebody that rang my doorbell only to find that my doorbell was offline. I then tried home.google.com on my PC, which also said the camera was offline. I found this strange considering my doorbell rang and I received notifications on my phone about the doorbell and an unknown person at my front door. I know my doorbell camera is recording video because I can go to the event history and watch the events. Obviously, it isn't ENTIRELY offline, it just can't connect to their system somehow.
I have already tried rebooting my PC, my iPhone, and my router. I didn't expect these to work, but I tried anyway.
This seems like a software bug on the camera itself. I'm hoping it can be resolved with a reboot of the camera. Is there a way to REMOTELY reboot (not reset) my doorbell camera? I'm disabled, so I cannot get to the doorbell to do the pinhole reset button on the back (depress button for 5 seconds to reboot.)

looks like this issue is occurring again today... I have multiple cameras across different states that are not working correctly. In my opinion, this is another server issue like last week

Hi @RedGoose,
Thank you so much for posting in this community. I’m sorry to hear your Nest Camera is offline. I’m willing to assist you with this.
I'd like to ask a few questions to better understand the situation and find the most effective solution.
What model of Nest camera do you have? To determine the model, refer to this article: Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells.
When did the issue start?
Are you getting any error messages?
Can the camera find other Wi-Fi networks?
Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the camera?
Have you performed any troubleshooting steps so far?
What Wi-Fi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
I’ll be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Daniel
