Nest Camera won't start routine

My Nest Camera battery doesn't start my google home routine when it detects motion (which it detects motion just fine and I get all the notifications from Google home when it is detected). But for some reason it still does not start my routine when it detects motion. Anyone have any idea why this is?

Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on. A few questions: did it work before? Do you have the latest Google Home app? Also what steps have you taken so far?

 

Try to delete and recreate the routine and observe if it will make a difference.
