Nest Doorbell Battery Rename

I try to rename my Nest Doorbell Battery.  From Google Home app, I go to the DoorBell -> settings -> Device information.  Here, I found Name.  However, it doesn't let me change the name.

@rtan I had the same issue, in order to change the name go into Device Information and instead of tapping on the obvious "NAME" instead tap on "ROOM", you don't need to change the room, you can simply tap on "NOT NOW" on the bottom left corner, this will take you to the next screen where you can change the name of your device.  Hope this helps

Hmmm,  I have the Gen1 Nest HELLO doorbell but I think it works the same way.  I'm on an iPhone and I go into the Google Home app, Then I select the doorbell so I'm seeing the live image.  Then I hit the GEAR in the upper right corner and the first thing that comes up is NAME and when I touch it I can rename it.

I have the Nest HELLO Doorbell (wired) as well and I can change its name from the Nest app.  But the Nest doorbell battery doesn't use Nest app.  It used Google App entirely.

Hi Rtan, I have the HELLO doorbell as well and it appears in both the NEST and the GOOGLE HOME app.  I just tried to rename it in the GOOGLE HOME app and it let me do it.

Hi @EmptyNester , the door bell in question is the Nest Doorbell (BATTERY).   The one you have is Nest Hello.  These two are not the same.  I have both of these.
