I just installed a nest Doorbell camera wired second generation . Everything is working except my chime is not working anymore when pressing the button on the doorbell. The chimes works perfect when I disinstalled the Nest and place the STD button.
My chimes does not have the STD 2 wire as described in the instruction. It is a friedland D107 from honeywell. It is quite common I think.
I have tried to put the puck between 2 and T3 but it does not work. Also tried between 1 and T3 .
It does not ring without the puck either. Is the puck a resistance ? What is the purpose of it ?
What shoudl I do to resolve my issue. I measured 18 V between 0 and T3, 0 and 1 and 0 and 2. What should I do to resolve my issue ? There is not much instruction for installation....
Photo of my chimes are attached.

Hi Philab,
I know it's been a while, and I'm sorry to hear about the situation.
What type of Nest Doorbell you have? And since your chime has two or more wires, your doorbell can probably work with a Nest doorbell, but you need to check the voltage. You might find its voltage inside your doorbell chime box, near your breaker or fuse box, and in the basement or crawl space under your home.
I'll look forward to your response.
Best,
Zoe
