Nest Doorbell Peeling

Justindunlap99

My door bell is only two years old and the outside of it is peeling really bad. It's on the north side of the house so the sun doesn't hit it. I don't understand why it would start peeling so soon. It's out of warranty and I don't see my self being a replacement to just have to deal with the same issue again so soon.

Hi there,

I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. Sorry to hear that your Nest Hello Doorbell is peeling and out of warranty! Because it is out of warranty, I am afraid there is nothing that we can do to assist you with a replacement. If you wish to get a new doorbell, you will want to purchase one again.

Best Regards,

Brad.

Why would I buy another one just have it do the same thing again. They arent cheap. I would recommend anyone wanting to get a door bell stay away from the nest one. It will peel within a couple of years and look horrible.

I completely understand the frustration, and I am so sorry that the device is no longer covered. I know that there are some companies that sell a silicone sleeve that you can put on your doorbell to protect it further, but I am still afraid that a replacement is not an option at this time as it is no longer covered by warranty. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Best regards,

Brad.
