Nest Doorbell (battery) not sending notifications to phone

Danlepage

When someone press the button it will only notify my Nest HUB, nothing on my phone (S21). Also, I checked to be notify for events like people or packages and it never sends anything.

Of course I made sure DND was not on and I double-checked the setups...

Does it mean I need to pay for NestAware in order to be notify when someone is at the door?

For now I don't need to have face recognition,  only to know someone his at the door.

Anyone has the same issue?

Thanks

I am having a similar problem. My wife receives a notification when someone is at the door but I do not. She set up the account with nest app and shared through google home to me but I only can see camera view when I open google home and select the doorbell. I would like to get notifications and talk to the person at front door as well, like my wife does.

I cannot work out how to get notifications on my phone or hub, but I can see events in Google Home.

it has been solved with a lot of effort. Removed all apps, nest, google home and gmail account as well and started from scratch.  Both my wife and I can now access doorbell and thermostat.
