Nest Doorbell pealing

Hello, I have bought my Nest Doorbell back in 2020 and just a year or two later my doorbell started peeling and since then it has gotten worse. I have contacted customer service about this issue before but since I don't have warranty with my product im not able to get a replacement. Does anyone know if its still possible to get a replacement or is it to late. This issue is clearly a defect of the product and not a user error problem as many people have had this issue.

@snop12

Two of our Nest Hellos are also peeling, and we too were told Google Nest "cannot" replace them because they're past the 1-year warranty. So we bought silicone "skins" on Amazon to cover the shards on the doorbells.
