In the Google Home App for iOS and the Nest app , I am able to view live activity, but if I pull up full history and try to open a clip I get the message “there was a problem connecting to the camera stream” Do I have to subscribe to nest aware to see the clips?

I am having this issue too. From what I have found so far, it appears to be an issue with cloud services. The videos are being uploaded, but not processed. In other words, the cameras are doing their job, but nest isn’t.

At least we know it isn’t user error. LOL Hopefully they can get the bug fixed.

It looks like you need a Nest Aware subscription. My device works now and I have all the features available.

Of course you have to pay to see clips. Nothing is complimentary. Thank you for your response.

In the past the image was available with no subscription, and the clips required a subscription. Are you saying now both require a subscription?

Having the same issues and I have a nest aware subscription.
