Nest Doorbell will not factory reset

I recently moved into a new home with multiple Nest products installed. I’ve successfully reset and connected to everything except for the doorbell (wired). When I try to factory reset the doorbell it does not reset. Is there a fix for this or will I be forced to buy a new doorbell?

The doorbell still doesn’t factory reset.

Are you pressing and holding down the little button with the a pin? Here is an article on the Factory Reset process.

Yes, I understand how to reset. It just doesn’t work when I try.
