Nest Doorbell (wired) offline

Nest Hello says that it is offline. In the app, it shows 5 sec recordings from my doorbell, but when I tap the video, it tells me that the doorbell was offline. Google Wi-Fi point is within 5 feet of the doorbell. When I try to update the Wi-Fi, I get the NC006 or NC007 error code. My router is connected to Wi-Fi and it is the correct password. Need assistance!

I ended up exchanging it for a new one, and it worked. Must have been a bad doorbell!

Hey there,

 

I am terribly sorry to hear that you're having this issue! I would love to assist you with this issue. If you are having issues with your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell, I would suggest that you first start by restarting it. 

 

Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.

No luck yet but my 18 mo old unplugged the connect and now it’s missing. I can replace this if I need to correct?
