Nest Doorbell (wired)

I'm looking to purchase the most recent nest doorbell. Would prefer the wired version. The doorbell at my home is currently wired and the voltage of the box says 10-16. I know nest says 16-24, but will I need to upgrade my transformer or will this work?

Doing a search I see this is what the transformer specs say.  You can always try it with the one you have and if it isn't strong enough to power the camera then replace the transformer.   But keep in mind that not only the voltage  (V AC) is important but the number of amps the transformer supports (Aka VA) is also important.

Nest Doorbell (battery) Nest Doorbell (wired)
Voltage 8 to 24 V AC 16 to 24 V AC (North America) 12 to 24 V AC (Global)
Power 10 to 40 VA 10 to 40 VA (North America) 8 to 40 VA (Global)
Frequency 50 to 60 Hz 50 to 60 Hz

We just went through this issue with the new gen 2 doorbell - the transformer 16v will power the doorbell, but would not power the chime. So I upgraded to the 24v and everything works like it should.
