Nest Floodlight Camera

Floodlight Camera says it's offline because the battery needs to be recharged. Ive done everything one can do to remedy the issue, short of buying a new one which isn't happening. There is no answer anywhere.

I seem to be having the same issue this morning.   It’s hardwired to my house.    There’s no way it doesn’t have power.   My second flood light cam is currently working fine

We have basically the same camera--the battery camera--plugged in with the optical power cable. Its battery has remained charged for 21 months and it is online and "Live" all the time.

If your USB plug is tightly seated in the bottom of your camera, and your power cable is feeding towards the FRONT of your camera, and the power to your floodlight camera is always on, your battery should not need charging.
