Nest Hello Doorbell Gen 1 Wired - Constant Green Light

I had this working for 2 years when all of the sudden it stopped working. I have tried resetting it by using the button and the small pinhole on the back when powered on, but nothing is working. I have also tried getting a new power supply but this is not working either. The green light on the top is constantly on. Please help!

Anyone have help here I have tried everything!

@jdubbs

What do you mean by a new power supply? Were you using a plug-in power supply because you didn't have an existing doorbell chime and transformer?

When you tried the factory reset, did you have your doorbell attached to your doorbell wires or power supply, as described below?

Exactly, I'm using an 18v AC 500ma adaptor because my house doesn't have an existing system. I had been using the same one for 2 years and the system was working well, so I got a new one in case that one stopped working. I did the Factory reset but that did not work. The green light turned off after 10 seconds, but the green light went right back on when I stopped pressing both buttons.

With the doorbell still wired to power, did you hold down the reset pin and the big doorbell button until the doorbell chimed and its light ring starting spinning blue and then flashing yellow, until all the lights turned off?

If that doesn't work, you could try contacting Support, using the link and instructions in this post:

Yes, I did, but it did not chime and there was no spinning blue light. The hard reset didn't seem to work.

You could try Support.
