I have a Nest Hello doorbell that is cracking and peeling which in my mind should not be happening. I have reached out to the google team but no word as of yet (Case ID 9-2332000035565).
Ubiquiti Unifi had a issue with their G4 doorbells where the button would crack, they ended up replacing all of these with the G4 Pro (upgraded version) even after the devices were out of warranty. They admitted that the quality of the product failed to meet reasonable expectations so I really hope that Google stands by their devices. Being that this is a huge problem I can see how they would want to say "too bad, out of warranty" however if they choose to keep people within their ecosystem I think they should replace without question.
As you can see the doorbell is well protected underneath a canopy
Is there anyone on here that can take a quick look at my ticket and help me?
