I just recently purchased a Nest hello doorbell(wired) and I'd like to wire it without a chime.
Would I be able to wire it directly to the transformer?
or would I have to use the chime connector in between?

Also what transformer would I need since the current one isn't working?

This thread has a diagram from Google Nest on a chimeless install: https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Cameras-and-Doorbells/Two-Nest-Hello-1-Transformer-and-NO-Chi...
You can find Google Nest's doorbell transformer requirements here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9247132?hl=en
