Nest Hello Wired Doorbell 1 chime, 127Volts Supply

Hello, I'm having some issues on installing a Nest Hello Wired on a 127V electrical supply,

The actual installation is as following

Neutro Cable connected directly to the chime

Live Cable is connected to the doorbell button outside the house, and then the live wire goes to the chime, closing the circuit

My actual Chime works on 125V /60 HZ / 0.17A

Not sure on how to install a transformer (I don´t have any now since my chime works under the same voltage as the house supply)

Hello ErickT1606,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. In case you have the Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen), it has higher power requirements than most doorbells. You need a transformer that is rated for 16-24 V AC, 10-40 VA to provide enough power to your Nest Doorbell. If you've already installed it and you see a blinking yellow light on the front, it isn't receiving enough power.

To learn more you may visit our public article about "Upgrade your transformer for Nest Doorbell (wired, 2nd gen)".
