Nest Hello doorbell peeling

Hello all

My Nest Hello doorbell has been peeling for some time. Most of the face has peeled off and it looks terrible. Is this a widespread manufacturing issue? Are Google doing anything to rectify the situation?

Regards

James

Hi @jamespitt

Not sure if this is covered by warranty?
You could try to reach out to Google Nest Support.

Another option is getting a third-party skin.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. Sadly I don't think it's in warranty as it was bought in 2020. I can't believe Google are not doing a product recall, given the number of people I've found complaining about the same issue! For a doorbell of this price, they shouldn't be failing so quickly!

Does anyone know whether more recent versions have had the issue rectified?

James
