Nest Hello lost power

EDonn

Tuesday my Hello lost its power feed (yep, I cut the wrong wire in my basement).  Today, friday, I believe I have it reconnected properly.

The camera is not streaming, door chime not working, I only see an occasional green light.

Would this mean I do not have it fixed or since its been down it needs time to recover or .....?

If you reconnected the wires correctly, your Nest Hello should work. However, on a couple of occasions, we've had to restart one of our Nest Hellos by briefly turning off its electrical circuit in order to get it to come back online after a power outage.

Perhaps, since the doorbell has been off for 3 days, you may have to try re-installing your doorbell in the Google Nest app. (There are occasional posts in this forum from Google Nest Community Specialists telling customers to unplug their cameras or doorbells for 48 hours when they are otherwise unable to reset them back to factory settings.)

Thanks @MplsCustomer .   I did have to pop it out and get it to restart with a micro USB.  I then reconnected the wires and plugged it back in ... without the USB and good to go
