Regarding Nest Thermostat, not Nest Hello: installed July 2020

I don’t know why I got logged out of my Nest account but I cannot log back in. It repeatedly tells me my email or password are incorrect. I have changed my email address since this was installed. But even if I type in my old email address it won’t log me in. It encourages me to migrate over to my Google account. I don’t want to do that. So I cannot manage my thermostat through the app. I can’t seem to get help through any avenue at Google Support. Can a yo e help me out here?

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, have you tried tapping the "Forgot Password" option to reset it? Do you select the "Sign in with Nest" option to sign in? Have you also tried selecting the "Sign in with Google" option and providing your same email address?
