Nest Wired Doorbell QR code and numbers completely gone

Hi, we have a Nest Wired Doorbell which was never installed, purchased a year ago and was just sitting in our garage since last year. We already threw away the box when we were planning to install it last year but we didn't because of the old doorbell still working in our house. We tried to install it last week but the QR code and all the numbers are gone. 
We contacted Google Customer Service and they said it is now a junk without the QR code and 6 digit number. 
This is totally unacceptable because we think the print on the back side of the doorbell was not printed correctly. 
Has anybody gone through this problem ?

We do occasionally see this issue here in the community. On the back of the device, you don't see the QR code or the 6 digit code above it? The writing is very small. Here is a photo.

Without the QR code or 6 digit code there is no way to add the doorbell to the app.

We SOLD all the GOOGLE PRODUCTs that we still had in our house on ebay and facebook marketplace and NEVER bought any GOOGLE PRODUCTs. They can't provide a legit Support for an item with a valid Warranty. Their products are filthy just like their Customer Service.
We also posted this issue in multiple SOCIAL MEDIA to educate our FRIENDS and FAMILY.
GOODBYE Lousy GOOGLE !!

and then

  • tap the type of device you'd like to submit feedback for.
  • To display available emails, in the "From:" section, tap the arrow on the right. Select your email address.
  • In the feedback summary, write a brief description of your issue.
  • Be sure to check the box for Screenshot and System logs.
  • To submit feedback, at the top right corner, tap Send
