When will this feature return for the new cameras? Much like other users this is a critical functionality that needs to be setup.

The inability to manage all “Nest” branded products in the “Nest” app is a complete deal breaker for me. Even the camera of the new Nest Hub Max is visible and manageable in the Nest app. I just purchased 4 of the new Nest Cam Battery for my home and if the ability to view and manage in the Nest App, with all of the “Nest” products, I will be quickly returning these cameras, sharing my discontent with this misleading product marketing on all of the retailers I can find to make sure others don’t fall i to this disappointment, and switching to a different cloud based DVR camera system.

Just purchased the new nest outdoor battery and after migrating my cameras to Google I was expecting the new camera to show up in the nest app. I use a chrome extension called "Tab Rotate" to cycle through camera feeds. I wish I knew viewing the new nest battery via a browser was not supported. Hope this basic feature will be supported someday. Real bummer as I have been a long time customer ever since it was first released as dropped. Still have my version 1.

A workaround solution I just tried out involves setting up "link to windows" for Droid. Not full proof and it is my hopes stability will improve with future Windows Patches. Link to Windows will let you access your Droid apps on your PC. You can run the Home Google App to show the Nest battery feed and for other camera use google chrome with the Tab Rotator extension. It's not perfect but at least there's is somewhat an option to access devices using the Home app. Hope this helps.

I wish I had found this thread earlier as I have just Factory Reset my new Nest Outdoor (battery) camera for the third time. Why do you even call it a Nest Camera if it is not compatible with the nest viewing app on my computer? Profoundly upset and wish I could return the wretched camera for a refund!

Seriously? The Google home app is a joke compared to the features of the nest app.
I just got two of these, and found this out on initial setup. I'm getting these refunded asap. What worthless trash this ecosystem is currently.
The nest app is so much better. Even scrubbing, history, and simple to use. Google offers what.. none of that? Geez.

Ah, there's a "cameras" button in the home app. While it lacks the same history select.. at least all cameras can be viewed at once.
I'll give em a try after all.

Hi, does anyone know if Google still sell the old style doorbells that you can view on a browser? I have the new one but an probably going to get a ring instead as it will be preferable to have to view my cameras in two windows thanks to not see it at all. Alternatively I guess there might be some of the old ones on eBay.
really disappointing that Google makes such a backwards step - maybe they make more money of the new design but I can’t see hope it benefits them either!
