Nest battery cam video issues

I have a few issues. I've have the nest aware subscription and set it up hours before my truck was broken into. I only have pieces of that footage even though it recorded more. Google was supposed to try and see if anything could be salvaged for a police report. But apparently, they only wanted my help in figuring out what went wrong on their end and were in no way trying to help me reclaim lost info. Which has subsequently screwed me with the police report because I delayed in giving them the info I had because I thought I could get more. Then, insult to injury. I returned the cam because it worked ao badly, and I lost what little footage I had because why would removing the camera remove the recorded video? I can't get anywhere with with Google because everytime I call in, I get sent to a call center where the people working there have no idea what they're doing. It's almost as if Google's new model is to give us as much useless and redundant information as possible so that we give up. So if anyone can help me get any of the footage, it'd really help.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this, as I can imagine it has been an inconvenience. I would love to look into this further for you. I am afraid that if the footage is no longer available, we cannot provide that footage. If it didn't record in full, it didn't record in full. The Nest Doorbell (battery) does not provide a 24/7 live feed as it would burn too much battery power.

It will remain in an 'idle' state; and trickle charge during that time. If you are still seeking assistance, please fill out this support form, and a higher tier of support will reach out to you with next steps.
