We've had a Nest doorbell for about 5 years and it works respectably with our iPads and our non-Apple cell phones. But the Nest app doesn't show up in Apple's App Store, at least not from the laptop, nor do I see how to get even a link put on the MacBook's desktop. It's very aggravating when someone comes to the front door and I'm working on the laptop, I can't bring up the camera to see who it is. By the time I go to one of the iPads to see, the visitor gives up and leaves.
Solution please?

There is no Google Home app for computers and laptops.
You just go to home.google.com (but it does NOT have the same capabilities as the Google Home app), or home.nest.com for 1st gen cameras and doorbells (which DOES have the same capabilities as the Google Nest app). You need to be logged into your Google Account on your browser.

Okay. How nice would it be if when the camera caught someone approaching, or at least if they pressed the doorbell, an expandable “zoomlike” pop-up window appeared on the computer immediately. By the time I type “home.google.com” into the browser and wait for log ins, choose “no”, I don’t want to upgrade, and everything else subsequent to cycle through, whoever’s at the door is too often gone.
