I have two battery cameras that are less than a week old. One won't charge at all the other loses power while charging. It started at 49% and went down to 13 percent in a 24 hour period. I'm using the charger that came with the cameras. Is this a faulty charger or faulty camera

When you are charging your battery cameras, is the charging cord plugged in with the cord feeding towards the FRONT of the camera? If your cords are plugged in correctly, then perhaps there is some defect going on. See these postings on the same issue, with no solution posted as yet:

We have had a Google Nest Camera (Battery) since September 2021 and have it plugged in all the time with the optional power cable. Every time we check, the battery says 100%. My personal opinion is that, even though it is a battery camera, it is only workable if it is plugged in all the time.

It's plugged in correctly just not charging

Since you are at least the 4th customer in this forum to report problems charging the new battery cameras with the enclosed charging cords, it certainly seems like there may be a defect somewhere.

I also have the Nest Camera (Battery) and have an issue with charging. I charge it to 100%, disconnect the cable and within 8 hours, the battery drains down to 0% and the camera dies. It worked fine for about a month, now it doesn't hold a charge at all.

Same here with battery life. Even having motion detection on low level battery drains. Now I have issues with charging. Currently says plugged in...but not charging.
