After a year of working just fine, my nest camera spontaneously disconnected from the Wi-Fi and will not reconnect. The second nest camera I have is working just fine on the same Wi-Fi. Nothing has changed with the Wi-Fi and when I attempt to reconnect, it simply says it’s looking for a Wi-Fi but doesn’t move beyond that. The camera itself has no lights on, then the blue/white light goes on solid, then it goes on and off four times, and then it turns off again for a period of time and then repeats this again. But it never moves beyond looking for wifi.

So I had this happen on my nest cam outdoor iq. They replaced it under warranty however the replacement died and so that is an expensive paper weight. Wish I had better news for you.
Sadly I got 3 new Google outdoor battery cams with cords as a replacement, sucker I am, well now 1 of those isn’t working. Not even 2 weeks old.
