I have 1 nest outdoor camera, 2 indoor wired cameras, 1 Nest Hello doorbell, google mesh wifi(1 router, 1 point), and a nest thermostat. Randomly, any one of the 3 wired cameras will go offline, and i get the notification after 10 minutes. Never more than one at a time, the thermostat and doorbell never fail. One indoor cam is near the router, 1 is near the point, and the outdoor cam is within 15 feet of the point. Sometimes it goes days with no issue, then any one of the cameras could just go offline at any time...sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes overnight. Always corrects itself by the time I'm awake or home from work. Any ideas?

Got two nest products, wired doorbell and the learning thermostat. Seems the last couple of days my door intermittently goes offline. I'm wondering if Google is having a back hual problem. They were down yesterday or the day before if I recall correctly. The root issue could possibly be on that side of the nest spectrum.

I have the same issue with my 3 Hello doorbells but it's very rare. With the new Nest Flood light camera it happens a lot. There is often missing footage and it’s supposed to record to local memory and offload when its back on the network.
If the power goes out I'll get the off line emails but these outages just have missing recordings.
I see no way to test or see the WiFi strength on the camera.

I also am having issues with my camera going offline more than it is online. I thought about getting a wifi extender because I have a split level house and the router is downstairs. If that is a solution can you tell me which extender would be the best to buy. I have limited funds to keep buying a lot of devices to solve one problem. Thank you

Hey folks,
Restarting and factory resetting your Google Nest camera or doorbell will have different results:
Restart: Keeps all your settings, and it should reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever becomes frozen, has trouble reconnecting to the internet, or isn't working normally.
Factory reset: Erases all your settings and options, and restores its factory default settings. It will not automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi and you'll need to set it up again.
You can find this information, plus additional information on this process here. Please let me know if you have further questions.
Best Regards,
Brad.

It still happens quite often to me. Within 5 minutes of the notification, the camera that is reported offline is connected again.

Yeah, pretty much whenever I see that it's offline or video is unavailable, I can connect to the live feed. So I'm not sure what's going on.
