Nest doorbell battery video feed when away

Hi,

I dont seem to find any definitive answer on the video feed when you are away from home. Is that available over Internet when you get the notification that someone is ringing the doorbell?

 

I am also interested if the US version would have any compatibility issues when used in Europe.

I contacted support and I was confirmed that the US version of Doorbell works just fine in Europe.

I am not quite clear on your 1st question. But I will take a stab at it.

If you have the Nest Doorbell (Battery) you can view video from the doorbell on your phone anywhere.  You do not need to be in the house or connected to the same wi-fi.  There are some assumptions, like your phone has internet access (wi-fi or mobile) and the doorbell is configured and working properly.

Still interested though if this can be used in Europe (RO) if acquired from US. I am not looking at using any plans, just the device and register with the app.
