My Best doorbell chime and visitor notifications on Google speakers are not working when the doorbell is pressed. The camera works fine. No issues with the video feed cutting out. Just nothing happening when the doorbell button is pressed.

Hmmmmm, was it working before and now it as stopped working? Also an obvious question but is the VISITOR NOTIFICATIONS turned ON in the Google Home app? If it is then try turning it off for about a minute and then turning it back on.
Finally, make sure you are on the latest version of the Google Home app.

Yes, it was working fine and then just stopped. The app is up to date and the notifications are set to on. I tried factory resetting it today and still the same issue. I got the doorbell to ring a few times but very inconsistently. Maybe 1 our of every 10-15 times pressed. But the visitor notifications still don't work. It's as if the button itself is the issue. It does light up, show video, record video, microphone works. It's really just the button.

Which doorbell do you actually have? The 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell installed in the Google Nest app, or the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell installed in the Google Home app?

I have the Nest Hello installed in the Nest app

Hmmmm, that a is very odd. If it is less than 1-year old then I believe it is still covered by the warranty. Here is a link to open an official support ticket with Google. It will let you speak with someone after you answer all the questions. They will most likely want to do the basic trouble shooting steps with you so be sure to set aside an hour or so. Please return here and let us know how it went. Here is the link:

It is not less than a year old. It is probably closer to 5 years old.

Perhaps the internal battery on your Nest Hello Doorbell is failing, as it has for MANY customers. It's now happened to all 3 of our Nest Hellos. When this happens the doorbell goes offline for about a minute whenever the doorbell button is pressed. The purpose of the internal battery is to provide continuous power for the doorbell at the instant when power is diverted to ring the internal doorbell chime.
You could try the workaround, which is to turn off the "Indoor chime" option; this keeps the doorbell online, so "Visitor announcements" to your Nest speakers should continue to work.
This is a long thread on the topic, with over 1,000 replies:
Google Nest says they "cannot" replace such doorbells if they are past the 1-year warranty.

The video never goes offline. And I have it set to provide notifications, but that isn't working as well.

Hmmmm, I'm running out of ideas on this one. Maybe (if you haven't already) try logging out of the app, then delete the app from the phone and re-download it from the app store.
