Nest doorbell chime wiring

Apolet5

I’m struggling with the wiring of my nest Doorbell (1st Gen). None of the videos or diagrams online are helpful with my situation. I’ve tried to do some trial and error to see which lines go to which doorbell (I have two at the house) and I have labeled them thus. Can anyone help me figure out where I need to plug my chime connector to?image.jpg

Hi Apolet5,

Thanks for posting in our Community. I’m sorry for the trouble this has caused you. Let me help you out.

If you are in the US, you can contact our installation partner, OnTech, to help you set up the Nest doorbell.

For all other countries, you can book an appointment with a Nest Pro. More information here.

Hi Lance, Thank you, I was trying to do it without having to hire someone if possible. I was able to hook mine up. I am getting video feed and everything EXCEPT, now the chime in the box doesn’t ring. Still trying to troubleshoot. I Any help would bee appreciated.

Hi Apolet5,

Gotcha. Check out the wiring diagram in this post. Also, this handy guide may help: Nest doorbell chime doesn't ring or sounds weak.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Lance
