The Nest doorbell I've had for 3 years has suddenly stopped staying connected to the Wi-Fi. I've done the reset procedure numerous times but the doorbell only stays connected for an hour or two, then it drops off again. I'm at a loss!

Hi @Jrebad14,
It's frustrating to have a device suddenly act up, especially after years of working fine. There are a couple more things to try and troubleshoot the Wi-Fi connection on your Nest doorbell:
Check for interference: Wireless signals can be finicky. Try moving your doorbell or router a few feet in different directions. Thick walls, large appliances, and even other electronics can all create interference. There are also Wi-Fi analyzer apps that can help you see how crowded your Wi-Fi channel is - ideally, you want to pick a channel with less congestion.
Restart your router and modem: Sometimes a simple reboot can fix a variety of network woes. Turn off both your router and modem for a minute, then turn the modem back on and wait for it to fully boot up before restarting the router.
Consider your Wi-Fi network: If you've recently changed your Wi-Fi password or network name (SSID), you'll need to factory reset your doorbell and set it up again to connect to the new network. Also, some Nest devices don't work well with 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks. If your router broadcasts a combined signal (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) with the same name, try splitting them into separate networks and connecting the doorbell to the 2.4 GHz network.
If you've tried all of these steps and your Nest doorbell is still dropping the Wi-Fi connection, then it might be time to contact our Google Nest support for further assistance. They may have additional troubleshooting tips or be able to determine if there's a hardware issue with your doorbell.
Best,
Brandon.
