Hi there,
I apologize for my late response, and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I understand this might be a little confusing, but I'm happy to assist you with this. I have a great article found here that should go over how to change your doorbell chime settings. Please let me know if you need further assistance!
Best regards,
Brad

Hi Bulld1,
Got it, no worries. To turn off your Nest doorbell chime, you’ll need to turn it off in your Nest app settings.
Here’s how:
Let me know how it goes.

No it's the outdoor chime from the actual doorbell I want to turn off . A normal doorbell does not chime outside . How do you turn off the chime on the actual nest hello . I want the internal bell to still ring

@Build1
Unfortunately, there isn't an option to turn off the chime sound from the outside of the doorbell when a visitor pushes the button. You can set up quiet time, or turn off the chime inside the home, but not on the outside. You can learn more here. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Best regards,
Brad

I am a huge fan of Google equipment but is this not a huge oversight? .
In an apartment building you can't have a chime outside annoying neighbours . And why does anyone need a bell outside. To let the person pushing the bell know they pressed it ? . Unfortunately I will have to remove this product and search for a different doorbell . Considering I have Google home and nest products all over my home this is very disappointing
