Nest history didn't show people

So when I first set it up my camera would have a history timeline of events. It would show motion, sound, and people. With the last few days it no longer records people in the timeline. I will get a push notification about a person, but when I go to the app is not in the history/ cannot go back and see who it was.

When I go to timeline settings the only options are to show motion and sound. However In notification settings all three options are present. Is this an update issue?? My fiance has not had this problem on his phone
