Nest need a web interface

I have five Nest cameras. A first edition doorbell and two first edition outdoor cameras. I have two second edition indoor cameras. Why would Google screw us on a web interface for the second edition cameras? If you are thinking of buying these cameras please know first they have no web interface only the Google Home app which is far inferior to the Google Home on the web. There is no comparison to the functionality of the two. I love that Google has the cloud 24/7 but the Google Home app is very cumbersome to use and difficult to get a clip from. I am looking for other options.
