Hi Jolander46,

Thanks for reaching out! Let's get this sorted — a few questions:

  • Have you tried to check if his Nest app phone location is turned on and notifications are on?
  • Is his Nest app's permission to receive notification on?
  • Does he have the latest version of the Nest app?

Give these steps a try:

  1. Turn off all notification settings in the Home app or Nest app and double check if the Web app has the same settings.
  2. Sign out of the Nest account on all devices it's signed into, including computers.
    • iOS
      1. Delete the app.
      2. Restart the phone.
      3. Reinstall app.
    • Android
      1. Clear the app's cache.
      2. Restart the phone.
      3. Reinstall app.

Make sure to check these settings after re-installing the app.

  • Background app refresh is on.
  • Do Not Disturb is off.
  • The app and phone OS are up-to-date.

        3. Sign in and turn all notification settings back on. If needed, double check if the Nest web app has the same settings.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

JT
