I have an indoor Nest cam in my garage. Works perfectly sends alerts to my Samsung android mobile. I purchased another the same, placed it in my living area. It records activity well but only sends alerts very occasionally. This afternoon it has not sent an alert for 2 hours. All its settings are the same as the old one, except it has the free trial of Nest Aware. I have reset it, moved it, done everything, if I can't fix it soon I will take it back. Any suggestions please?

A few questions: do you have a 1st or 2nd Gen Nest indoor camera? What’s the color of the status light? Are you using an iOS or Android device? Also, are you using the Google Home or Nest app?
