New Android User with Galaxy Watch 4 with Wear OS - No image preview from Nest Doorbell Cam.

Long time Apple IOS user here. I just switched over to Android on a Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 4 running Wear OS just to try it. I am extremely disappointed to see that Android doesn't have the nice features that Apple does for the Nest Doorbell cam considering that Google owns Nest and Android you would think the experience would be better on their own platform. Whenever I got a notification on my Apple Watch from Nest Doorbell Cam it would send an image of who was at the door on my watch. On my Android watch I just get a text only notification that someone is there and to open it on my phone. Pretty lame. You should be embarrassed that Apple is providing a better experience for your product than Google\Android, the owner of the product itself.

I sold all the Android devices I own today and went back to Apple. The Nest app works perfectly with Apple watch, and I get photo notifications and can do quick replies. Working great now! Crazy how much better the experience is for Nest products on an Apple watch compared to Android based products. You can close this case now. I learned my lesson to never use Android products again. Thanks.

Someone made an app to workaround the problem. Would be nice if it worked natively. Maybe it is just a Samsung issue. You guys should let them know their watch is messed up. https://github.com/hugokiehl/android-notification-converter
