New Google nest image appears like a negative.

  • I just connected to brand new Google nest cameras, the outdoor type with the battery and magnetic base. One works fine, the other at first appeared to be stuck in night vision mode, but when I turn off night vision mode I still get what looks like negative images in the video in Livestream though not as dark. I have screenshots of both, and if I can figure out how to add them to this post I will. Anybody else experiencing the same problem and no what the fix might be? Otherwise I’m gonna return the Porre operating one.

I have seen this happen on my cameras but I do not  have any of the battery cams.  I have been able to fix the issue but removing the power to the camera for a minute and then letting it re-connect to my WIFI router and then it re-registers it's self with the Google Servers.  But in your case you have a battery version so there is now way to fully power cycle it.  However you can force a reset but be sure NOT to do it in such a way to cause a full RESET to FACTORY.

Literally 10 minutes after posting this issue the camera started working normally 🤷‍♂️! I have no idea why but so far it is continuing, will monitor and post back if anything changes.

Wow,,, sometimes things just self-correct I guess.  Very odd.  But glad to hear it is working.
