I have a new Spectrum Modem and WiFi (separate). I have successfully (easily) connected Ipads, Android phones, Smart TVs, wireless printers, and a Ring Doorbell to the new Router.
I have four Nest indoor cameras and one outdoor which refuse to work with the new router. I get error messages C225 and C325. I have been working on this for the past four hours to no avail. I see that others on these forums have had similar situations. Has anyone been able to resolve this or do I now have $1K of paperweights? TIA

Hi NancyFF,
See this Nest Help page for information about those 2 error codes. Troubleshoot Nest camera and doorbell setup messages - Google Nest Help
C225 ∙ C325
This can happen when you’re trying to connect to a hidden Wi-Fi network, and you entered the information manually. You may have picked an incorrect security type for your Wi-Fi network.
Troubleshooting
Note: If you’re not comfortable checking your network settings, contact the person or service provider who set up Wi-Fi in your home to do it for you.
Double check your Wi-Fi network’s security type. For example, this error may appear if your Wi-Fi network’s security type is WPA but you selected WEP during setup.
In the app, tap Try again. Re-enter your Wi-Fi information. When prompted, select the correct security type for your Wi-Fi network.
If you’re still having trouble, you can try temporarily un-hiding your Wi-Fi network so that your camera can find and connect to it automatically. Then, when you’re ready, you can hide your network again.

JillG,
Thanks for your reply, but I have already been through that. My router's security is WPA2 by default. Network is not hidden. I have had no problem connecting any of my other devices. This should have been a piece of cake too.
Any other thoughts? Thanks in advance!
I am wondering if

I'm having a similar issue with my new spectrum router/wifi. I get the error code C104. I read the other thread but my router does not have the option to turn off 5G. It is ridiculous if Google does not have a fix for this. Please let us know how we can get our cameras reconnected. Thank you

Solved this yesterday. Needed to buy a Google WiFi dual band router from Best Buy SKU6468004 and plug this into my Spectrum router so that i could now set up two networks in my home, The camera is tied to the Google router so now we have a Google camera talking to a Google router and it is obviuosly a marriage made in heaven. My Google router was a refurbished one and got it for US$55.00, Problem solved,

Hey folks.
Not sure what to tell you about the Dropcam issue, maybe restart it or factory reset it and see if it works properly again. Also, verify that it is still connected to your account. I do not know anything about spectrum wifi, so I wouldn't be much help at all there. I'd suggest you check out the wifi forums \for more info.
Best regards,
Brad.

My Google wifi arrived yesterday. The Good News - I was able to connect my Nest outdoor camera that I purchased in 2021. The Bad News - My indoor Dropcam indoor cameras that were purchased in 2014 would not connect. Thank you to @rwturner for all your help.

Glad it was of some help. My outdoor camera was the one that I was addressing with this solution and am pleased that it worked for you as well.

If anyone has any luck with connecting their old Dropcams to the Spectrum wifi6 router, please let me know how you got them to work. I am sad that such good cameras are now useless. TIA
