New tenants not able to connect the Nest Hello 1st Gen to their Nest/Google Home App

My tenants are not able to connect the Nest Hello to their Nest/Google Home App.  I had it on mine prior to moving out, cancelled the subscription but it seems that the tenants are still not able to connect to it. I dont have it listed in my Nest app or Google Home app. What is preventing the new folks from connecting to the Nest Hello?

Since your post doesn't say what issue your tenants are encountering, it's hard to tell what's preventing them from connecting. However, did you remove your Nest Hello from the Nest app and perform a factory reset on it, as Google Nest outlines in their moving instructions (see link below)?

Hey folks,

@ITGUY2013 Let's see what's going on — what error message are they getting when they're trying to set up the Nest Hello? Check out this link on how to Troubleshoot Nest camera and doorbell setup messages.

I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

Thanks,

Archie
