Not getting camera notifications when off WiFi

We have three Nest cameras (two outdoor, one doorbell) on our home Google WiFi.  No matter where I am (Wifi or cellular) with my Pixel 5, I get camera/doorbell notifications. But my wife's Motorola is no longer getting camera/doorbell notifications when she's on cellular.  When she gets home and connects to our WiFi her phone erupts with ALL the notifications that were sent during the day. I've dug thru her notification settings and compared them to mine - they are identical.  Both phones have the Home and Nest up to date.

Thoroughly perplexed....help?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.  Her phone is up to date, all required permissions in place, etc.  I did find the solution on my own - she somehow managed to turn off cellular data. Restart data and it of course works perfectly. She has a habit of stuffing the phone in her purse without locking the screen first so I suspect it happened there. In any case I moved that switch/button deeper back in the setting pull downs. She breaks stuff on the phone that I didn't know could be broken...

I appreciate your help!

Hey Clzeni,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

Let's see what's going on. Could you check if there's an available OS update on your wife's phone? Does the Nest app have permission to use her phone's location? Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Nest. Also, have you tried reinstalling the Nest app to see if that helps?

Thanks,

Archie
