Google Nest Wired Doorbell Peeling

I believe my doorbell is out of warranty but why is it peeling? This seems to me to be a manufacturer defect. Is there anything that can be done besides buying another doorbell for the same thing to happened?

Nest doorbell

Hello my Nest doorbell records a very short time. Like it recorded at 4:30 am but at 8am it's gone. So it holds like 10 and deltes everything or it's a time thing. My arlo does 5 days. How do I extend the length of time the video is kept?

Login issues with Nest on Chromecast

Resolved! Nest Cam Indoor wired 2nd generation

Just purchased new camera. When I follow directions to install, all goes well until "finishing up" prompt. After about3-4 minutes I received "Something went wrong" prompt. I have repeated all steps. Google Home seems to be functional. Suggestions??
