Not receiving alerts

The motion detection on my nest doorbell stopped working. I tried everything to fix the issue until I did a full reset.

This fixed the motion detection but now I do not receive alerts to my phone.

The camera works perfectly now when someone walks up to the doorbell, it just wont send an alert.

I have tried all the settings (turned them on and off several times) but to no avail .

I have checked the settings on my phonw as well but still nothing.

If it doesn’t work I dont see the point in paying for a subscription ?

Some advise would be appreciated .

Thanks for reaching out — let's see what's going on. A few questions: what Nest doorbell are we working on?  Is the issue happening with push notifications or both email and push? Do you receive push notifications on multiple devices? Also, is your mobile device connected to a network?

 

Could you try to connect the mobile device to another Wi-Fi or cellular network? Signing in to your account on another mobile device and triggering a notification to test might also help isolate this.
