Original nest app SO much better than Google home

Why can’t google make the google home app work as well or same as the original nest app? I haven’t added the newer cameras only have original nest cameras (which I love) because they only work in the google home app. PLEASE make them compatible with the original nest app OR look at the original nest app on iOS and make yours work as well!! I’m not the only person that feels the same!
