Outdoor camera not detecting animals

My battery camera detects people but not animals and we have plenty of visual sightings of foxes in the garden but the camera doesn’t night or day

Check your settings to be sure it is turned on to detect animals. That being said- mine is turned on for everything but mever detects the people- we never miss the spiders, cars, deer etc…just the people

Please toggle the event settings off and then back on. Follow the steps below:

• Open the Google Home app.
• Tap Favorites or Devices.
• Tap and hold your device's tile > More > Settings.
• Select Events.
• Turn off each event setting, then turn them back on.
