My two outdoor cameras have been working just fine since installed last fall. But now when I open my Nest app, one of them says it's turned off and to turn it on to see live video. When I slide the little button over to turn it on, it just keeps spinning and spinning and doesn't turn on. AND in Settings though, it says this camera IS on? How can I fix this?

Hi Burlington, I'm an end user like you are. That sounds like one I have not heard of before. Since this is a user forum you may not get a clear answer. This sounds like it is one you may want to open ticket with the folks at Google to get more help. Here is the link to open a ticket...

Thanks for your response and suggestion. I ended up not contacting the help department because I was able to fix it myself. Weird though...
The outdoor camera is plugged into an outside outlet and there are two items plugged into that outlet, the Nest camera and an outside motion detector light. The power to that outlet was on though since the motion detector light worked just fine but not the Nest camera.
But just for fun (haha), I turned off the power to that outlet and then turned it back on, and the camera now works! I don't know why just the camera didn't work when the light did but maybe some little raindrop or piece of debris or whatever tripped just the one side of the outlet? (I don't even know if that's possible?)
So who knows? But all's good thankfully. Thanks again for your help.
