3 of my outdoor cameras are saying offline in the app on my phone and Nest. All of them have green lights and are connected to the power. It will allow me to see the history but not live.

I had the same issue . I use Nest wifi mesh. I went to the setting of Google home, wifi and disabled preferred activities( default is video conferencing). Live video now works.

Thank you so much for reaching out to me. My cameras are back online but I accidentally deleted one of them from my app and I'm trying to get it back on there. He said I needed to scan a QR code or stand near the device so it would connect. I don't see a QR code on my camera and I tried standing near but it still didn't pick up the device.

Hi there,

We’re sorry you’re having trouble adding your camera, but we appreciate your efforts here.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can also try:

  1. Make sure Bluetooth is on. Turn Bluetooth off, then back on to refresh the connection.
  2. Your phone shouldn’t be connected to any Bluetooth devices.
  3. Cellular data should be turned off.
  4. Restart your router or modem, unplug it from the power outlet, wait for 1 to 2 minutes then plug it back in.
  5. Forget the Wi-Fi network on your iPhone or Android phone.
    • Go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
    • Tap the info button next to the network you're using.
    • Tap Forget This Network, then tap Forget to confirm.
  6. On iOS devices with iOS 14 or later, ensure that Local Network Access is enabled for the Nest app.
    • On your iOS device's home screen, tap Settings.
    • Tap Privacy > Local Network.
    • On the list of apps, turn on Local Network Access for the Nest app.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the help here, everyone!

Best,

JT
