Pink hue on image

Hi, my camera has changed to this look everyday even though I keep resetting the camera and turn off for 30 seconds. The next day it always looks like it did the day before? Toggling between night mode and back doesn't help, any ideas?

So mine was the same, after about 3 days of resetting it (unplugging and letting it reboot) this issue has seemingly stopped.

Hi MattMM613,

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that your Nest camera video feed has a pink screen. I appreciate the troubleshooting you've done so far. Help is here!

To move forward, I need to ask you some questions:

  • What model of Nest camera do you have?
  • Does this also happen in video history, and do you experience it with other Nest cameras?
In the meantime, I recommend you follow this suggestion:
  • Ensure that the camera isn't in an area prone to overheating or direct sunlight.
    • If the camera is hot, please unplug the camera from its power source and reposition it after it’s had sufficient time to cool.

Keep me posted.

Best regards,

Rusell.

The video is pink all the time? It sounds like the lens is breaking on you

I've started experiencing the same issue this week. When I reset the camera, the colors return to normal, but after a night, the image turns pink again. My night vision setting is on auto, so I suspect the problem is related to the night vision switching on and off.

I'm becoming increasingly disappointed with Google products because of issues like this.

So mine was the same, after about 3 days of resetting it (unplugging and letting it reboot) this issue has seemingly stopped.
