Power cable rotted out by sun

My outdoor nestcam power cord has turned to dust almost. Here in Florida it does not take long for this to happen. Is this cord repairable? I have included pictures of the issue.

You could try contacting Google Nest Support and ask for a replacement, especially if your camera is within the 1-year warranty: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Hey Wealthytraveler,

Appreciate the help, MplsCustomer. Could you tell us when and where you purchased your Nest Cam Outdoor? Also, are you in the same country where you bought it?

Thanks,

Archie

Yes, live in US in FL purchased at Best Buy couple years ago.

Hey Wealthytraveler,

Thanks for the information. This may not be the answer you're looking for, but the Nest Cam Outdoor only has a 1 year warranty. I'd suggest purchasing a power cable to a third-party retail store. Check out this link for the Technical specs for Nest cameras and doorbells.

Thanks,

Archie

@aatienza

It is simply astonishing that, unlike Ring Arlo, Wyze, and Blink, Google Nest does not sell any spare parts for its cameras and doorbells, and instead tells customers to find a "third-party retail store".
